"You must be the change you wish to see in the world."- Mahatma Gandhi
To be the change you wish to see in the world requires contemplative study and prayer.
We recommend daily time in God's Word and we study together weekly. We invite you to spend time in God's Word together with us every Tuesday at 6 pm. and recommend a couple of on-line resources for your daily time with God's Word. We also have worked with a number of Social Justice NGO's in the area and recommend you consider volunteering
with any of them or just come by the Wesley and find out where we are currently seeking to be the change we wish to see, to be God's hands and feet in our world today.
"I remind myself that any activism regarding improving the world must come out of patient, unrushed, centered contemplation that focuses my mind on God."
[Richard Rohr, Everything Belongs: The Gift of Contemplative Prayer]
